The Club operates from a series of pontoons located in Ayr Harbour.
Access is by way of secure walkway to the North Quay wall.
The berthing has been arranged to cope with a maximum boat size of 30 feet overall. You should also note that our Constitution prohibits any commercial use of the facilities.
Visitors are welcome and can use the pontoons (although space is very limited). The key giving access to the pontoon may be obtained at The Ship Inn on receipt of a deposit of £10.
Visitors using this facility should put a crew member ashore at one of the many ladders along the North wall prior to the flats and then collect the key from the The Ship Inn. There is a berthing charge of £10/day or part/day payable at The Ship Inn.
As well as pontoons in Ayr Harbour the Club has lock fast storage facilities available either on a Winter only basis, or all year. This costs approx. £210/per six months. Should you require lifting in and out this is undertaken at the beginning and end of each season and is charged at cost depending on the number of craft using the facility. We have our own tractor for towing purposes.

For those who sail the Club has numerous Trophies which are raced for, using the Portsmouth Handicap System.
These races include weekly, day and weekend, catering for all sizes of sailing craft.
Motor Boats are also welcome to use the Club facilities and cruise extensively on the Firth of Clyde.
The Club supports the local Sea Cadets, offering the use of the pontoons and reduced mooring fees. |
